Well, another school year has come and gone and I still haven't gotten the handle of blogging like I had hoped.  Maybe this is the year I can actually get it up and going.  The classroom clean-up is still going on.  I am trying to pitch and "clean-up" all my files this summer.  I was given many things over the years from retiring teachers and instead of me saying no thank you I took everything that was given to me.  Unfortunately, it has added up to be a whole lot of clutter.  My goal is to pitch the things I have not used.  Wish me luck.

Dwindling Summer Days

Well, summer is going by quickly and I am not even close to getting the things I have wanted to get done finished.  But.., I have been able to spend some time with my daughter this summer.  My classes are now finished and all that is left is taking the Praxis exam.  I am still hopeful that I can learn more about blogging this year and maybe even get a few followers along the way.

Spent a few hours at school today moving some furniture.  I still need to continue to "pitch out" the things I am not using that is taking up space in my classroom.  Why is it so hard for teachers to throw things away?  Is it just me or are there other teachers out there that have held on to some things because you may need it for something in the future??

End of 2011

Another year has come and gone.  I am getting close to finishing my classes for my administrative license (2 classes to go).  I hope to be able to do more blogging in the 2012 and learn the ins and outs of it.  I have seen so many fabulous blogs and I hope to have one that people will want to come back to.  But.., that will have to wait until after the classes are complete.  Until then I will try to at least post things from time to time.

Let the madness begin!

So, it is coming down to the wire and unfortunately I have so many other things to do that my classroom was put on the back burner.  I know it will be a crazy couple of days.  Have to be ready by Thursday night for Open House.  I am starting to feel the pressure and to make things better I have a killer HEADACHE!

I was hoping to do more downsizing this summer. Taking classes and my sisters wedding were priority over school this year.  I guess it will probably happen as I go through the year.    For a number of years, I was the young teacher in the school and the teachers who retired generously gave me things.  Unfortunately all the things have accumulated in my room and is causing it to be cluttered.  I can't stand it. It's time to get rid of things.

Blogging Day 1

Yeah!  I have finally made my way to the world of blogging.  With the help of my friend Jenn over at A Pirates Life for Us, I am going to dive into the world of blogging.  I have see so many wonderful blogs and I hope someday to be able to be one of them.  Bear with me as I get started on this new adventure.  It may take me a little bit to get going.., but I will.
